About
I'm Elisabeth, an artist based in New England. I create portraits rooted in light, restraint, and observation.

I was first drawn to black-and-white photography, studying how light reveals form and expression. Over time, portraiture became the focus of my practice — a slower way of observing and translating light into something lasting.
My work is shaped by classical training at Paier College of Art, where traditional methods were central, and by New England itself — a place that values understated beauty, craftsmanship, and things made to last.
Each portrait begins with a photograph and careful study. Over time, the work becomes something lasting — a piece that honors a memory, marks a moment, and quietly belongs in a home.
My portraits are held in private collections throughout New England and across the United States.
